Hopscotch 2011 Live Painting Showcase - Call for Artists Deadline for applications is August 11, 2011 Hopscotch 2011 invites artists to apply for this years live painting showcase being held during the Hopscotch main event on the Commons, Saturday September 10, 2011. Applications will be juried and chosen artists will be invited to paint starting at 12pm through until 6 pm on Saturday.

Artists will paint on primed wood board 12’ wide x 8’ high and are required to bring all necessary material to create their piece. Artists will receive a $50 honorarium for participation in Saturdays event. Final works will be juried and evaluated based on originality, technical skill and overall balance and composition. Prizes for first, second and third prize will be $1,000, $300, & $200 respectively.
